| Junghans Westminister Mantle Large Mantle Clock  |
This clock features a beautiful Westminster chime movement. The front of the wooden case looks like burled walnut but I'm not sure. There is a seperation of the wood on the back of the clock to the right of the door (see pictures). This clock is 27" wide by 9.5" high by 5" deep. This nice walnut shelf clock features an 8 day time and strike movement. It chimes on the half hour and strikes the hour. The clock also features an alarm. This clock is 14.5 wide by 19.5" high by 5" deep. The top of the clock was broken off at some point and is missing (see Pictures). | Seth Thomas Black Mantle Clock Model 'Texel'  |
This clock is a typical example of the black mantle clocks c1902 with adamintine accents that the Seth Thomas company is well known for. The clock measures 16 1/2" wide by 10 1/2" high by 6 1/2" deep. The case has some condition problems. The adamintine finish on the top has faded to some degree , the bars are missing from the lions mouth on the sides of the clock, and the adamintine has loosened in some areas. But the overall condition is not unreasonable for the age of the clock. This clock strikes on the hour and half hour.
